The Oldham One-Name Study is a collection of Oldham family histories generously provided by many researchers. Working together has helped reunite several Oldham families. If you know of an Oldham Family Reunion, please contact us with the information and we will post it here on the website. Doesn't matter where in the country, or which family line. Many individuals have been asking if we know of any reunions being held in 2010-2011. This research started when my husband was identifying people in old photos we found. After identifying several hundred Forsythe relatives, we came across a beautiful wedding photo. He told me that was Grandpa and Grandma Oldham. Okay, so what were their names? He replied, They were just Grandpa and Grandma Oldham. He knew all his Forsythe relatives, but had never known his Oldham family. That began our search for his Oldham roots. Please help put the Oldham families back together again. We welcome all additions, corrections, photos and documents. 16 Jun 2011 - I'm sorry to say Sarah Jane Facemyer Oldham passed on 18 Apr 2011 of cancer. Our condolances to Julia Oldham Harris and her family on the loss of her mother 26 May 2011 - There will be an OLDHAM REUNION July 8th-10th at Red River, New Mexico. It will be held at the Alpine Lodge, http://www.alpinelodgeredriver.com 1-800-252-2333 is their toll fee number 22 January 2011- We regretfully announce the passing of Phyllis Kidd Oldham. Rest in Peace. 15 Sep 2010-It is with heavy hearts and overwhelming sadness, that we share the news of the passing of our son, John T. Oldham, b. 1972 d. 2010, from Large B Cell Lymphoma. Any who wishes, may send a donation to Robert Maxwell Oldham for his Education Fund, 6325 Nightshade Dr, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. We will always miss you John. 25 Aug 2010-The descendants of Charles Walter Oldham (of Kentucky) are having a reunion in LaGrange KY on Sunday August 29 around noon, at the clubhouse in Crystal Lake subdivision (just off I-71 exit #22) . This reunion is held yearly the last Sunday in August. Any Oldham descendants of this line are welcome. We would love to connect with other people from our family! Please contact us for further information. 31 May 2010 - Upgraded to TNG 8.0 with only minor problems, mostly caused by operator error. Be sure to check out the photo viewer and other new features. 16 May 2009 - Upgraded to TNG 7.1.3 with great success. Added new Most Wanted. 1 May 2009 - Please pardon my mess. I will be renaming photos and doing a general cleanup of the webside to accomodate our new look. site. 15 Apr 2009 - Indexed Oldhams in the 1860 Federal Census. 1 Apr 2009 - Began indexing Oldhams in the 1850 Federal Census. 5 Jan 2009 - Added a whole new look to my site. 25 Dec 2008 - Put years and years of work into my family research. 1 Nov 2007 - Put many years of research into the new website.. |
